We asked her why she thinks Old West boots are so popular with western wear customers, and threw in some of your own questions while we were at it.
What is the best thing about Old West Boots?
Lindy did not hesitate; “Price point! These are all leather boots, both mens’ and ladies,’ and they come with a leather sole so they can be re-soled. This is just a really nice looking boot. An all leather boot for under $150.00, we sell a ton of them!”
The “Taylor Swift look” is the hottest thing in western/mainstream crossover fashion right now. For someone trying to achieve this look, which Old West boot does Lindy recommend?
“The LF1529 Tan Canyon Fashion or if you want a darker brown color, the LF1534 Brown Canyon Fashion. It has that popular 11” shaft and it’s simple enough that it goes with anything, but has enough western design that it’s not boring.”
What is your most popular womens’ style?
“That Tan Canyon we were just talking about and also the LF1510, which is the same boot in black. The LF1526 Chocolate and Denim with that bluish/turquoise shaft is really popular right now, too.”
Do the adult sizes run true-to-size?
“They are a little narrower than what you find with some other brands. A lot of customers seem to be going about a half-size smaller than with some other popular boots.”
And what about the kids’ sizes?
“Huge! They are actually about one whole size bigger than most others, we recommend trying them about a size smaller than normal.” For kids’ boots she prefers the crepe sole to the PVC. “I just don’t think that hard plastic sole holds up as well.”

Where do I start, I love boots more than heels and tennis shoes combined. Cowgirl boots to me, make a woman look confident. I have three jobs and I would LOVE to get to show off some awesome Double H Bukaroos. I sell caskets and walk the cemetery often. I run a kitchen at night and work outside in the field at a shooting range when called upon. I think I would even sleep in them if they looked right. haha. yes, help me get happy.
I have worn my Double-H packers for many years!! This last year I had them resoled & passed them down to my son who just loves them!! So since he wears them now I need to get some for myself again!! Loved them for hunting, work, & play!! worked great on a horse or my Harley!!

I love to wear my boots with dresses, skirts, denim shorts, and jeans. Basically everything!! If I had my way I would wear them everyday with every thing! You can’t go wrong with a good pair of boots!

I wear my boots just about anywhere I go. I go into the big citites with them on, I tell people that we gotta bring out the country in us! My family are part country but they don’t wear boots, I am a pure redneck, the boots look good with everything I wear, I have shoes but I wear them twice a year. Who needs shoes when you got boots? I wear my boots everywhere & with everything! They are better to dance in than heels. I also wear them when I travel. They are much more comfortable than sneakers when you have to jam thru the airport! I would love to win a pair!

I wear them anywhere and everywhere. Thus why I need a new pair. I wear them with everything from work clothes to work cows and horses in to a nice pair of jeans to go dancing in (after been cleaned off of course).
Always proud to wear my boots (12pr’s) right now all hand made to fit. But like I tell my wife, I’m still looking for that special pair of boots so I can’t stop now! I love the way cowboy boots look in pic’s man their beautiful but I like them better when I wear them. I wear them everywhere, even with my shorts or pajamas (indoors or the back yard) sure even in bed (but so far I haven/t slept with them on) there all exotic boots except for 1pair (dingos) so I’m seriously thinking about getting me a pair of “Old West boots” why not Lindy convinced me. As a rougth & tough cowgirl my boots have so many miles on them from church with a flowy summer dress, barrel races and rodeos EVERY weekend, running miles down gravel roads with carrots to catch escape horses, to going out with the girls in cutoffs (no other shoes are comfy enough to dance in!)& of course to school, who has time after working horses in the morning to put on other shoes, my good ole boots are perfect for everything, and with the exception of on a horses back I could practically call them home

Berger had a pair of cow boy boots. I’ve always wanted to take up square dancing, but couldn’t afford the boots. I would love to win then. Those boots were made for walking. That’s what I’ll do, hopefully if I win those boots they would walk all over you, and that dance floor.

When I first moved from Colorado to Vegas I was a little scared to bring out my boots. I thought, these city people are going to make fun of me for wearing them. But I didn’t let that stop me. I have not own a pair of good western boots and think it is time to get a pair. The last pair I go were too small as I have a high instep and had to sell them. So I think this will be the next ones to try. From what I have read they are the most comfort for the feet. I hope to be able to own a pair of boots soon. These will be the boots.

I love old western boots! Heck I love all boots in general but simply put you couldn’t find a better boot for the price. High quality, comfortable, and down right gorgeous. I refuse to buy a boot I cant muck a stall in and then wear out two stepping a few hours later! Old Wests are the boot for me !
I wear them with ripped jeans and a tank!! I use them to go horse back riding with my best friend. They get the most use in the barn and on the farm i recently started working at. I just learned how to ride this year and had to get a pair of boots. She recommended Old West and I haven’t been able to take them off since!!! I am a northern girl who lives in a southern world and these cowboy boots were my first pair!! I love them!! These boots match everything!!
I dont own a pair but would love to… I see them around all the time and hear a lot of great things about the boots and the brand… My old boots dont fit anymore amd i have a hard time finding them that fit good… Maybe one day i will own a pair of Old Wests….
We are wearing the boots for our wedding party. Bridesmaids and Groomsmen!!! I LOVE the “old west look” Thats why we picked them for the wedding also the price, very afordable, since we are ordering so many pair. My daughter just hasnt picked out hers yet (bride) because she cant decide which design to go for. (too many decisions). I own 2 pair and the leather soles are GREAT. Had them replaced twice, but I use 1 pair daily around the farm. These boots are very tough, they can take alot of abuse. I also have a pair I wear with cut off jeans and skirts…LOVE the look, dress up and still feel country…
I wear my boots EVERYWHERE! I truly have no other shoes that feel as good on my feet as my boots! Black ones for dressing up, brown distressed for relaxin and dancin and my muddy workers for…muddy workin! I wear them to church, family get-togethers, goin to the movies…everything! I wear them with everything (minus workout clothes because running on the treadmill with cowboy boots is apparently frowned up). I wear them when I dress down, working in the barn, working in the office, when I dress up, go out. In my opinion who needs dress shoes when you own a pair of cowboy boots.
