A lot of us are going through a lot of ice in this summer’s record heat, but Nathan Patterson of Double-H Boot Company, doesn’t think it’s likely that you’ll be going through the ICE outsole available on many styles of Double-H boots. Double-H is traditionally known for their western work boots and they make a large number of styles right here in the USA! We asked Nathan to answer a few questions about Double-H boots, our Product of the Week.
RCC- Tell us about the ICE sole. What does that mean?
Nathan- “Although there is no specific definition to the acronym “ICE,” the design does mimic an “icicle” design. With each boot that is accompanied with an ICE outsole, whether it be black, oak, or chocolate, the outsole provides great flexibility, oil and slip resisting, outstanding abrasion factor, and is extremely long-wearing.”
RCC- What styles come with an ICE sole and what new styles also have an ICE heel?
Nathan- “We currently have over 40 styles that are offered with the incredibly long-wearing ICE outsole. We pride ourselves with this specific outsole and have offered it in 3 choices: black, oak, and chocolate. We also offer many styles that use the ICE heel which strengthens the overall wear of the outsole. In addition, the ICE outsole comes in a single unit outsole.”

I love Double H boots because I know that when I put mine on and go to work, I am wearing the best possible protection I can. When it comes down to work boots Double H is all I wear, and my husband too. I can go about my day to day life without concern and at the end of the day, while my back may be a little sore my feet will be sitting pretty in my double H. And after work,, when it’s time to play, I head out with my Double H boots on and two step the night away.
My hubby has a pair that he bought when he was in the states on the rodeo circuit 14 years ago and they have been resold 12 times and still going strong although a bit worn but still look hot on an old cowboy p.s we need a lot more in Australia!!!
Double H’s are the best! Its been the one and only boot i can take right outta the box and they fit perfectly! The most comfortable boot ive ever owned. I deff wont own any other boot!
Double H boots are what america can rely on in a difficult economy. They are depenable, tough, and yet are nice enough to wear to a fancy meal. They are comfortable enough to wear all day while doing chores and then to put back on when going out. Double H boots are exactly what america needs.
Okay, I have to say. The best thing about these boots are that they were made and sold in the USA. Also, the fact that you carry a size 10 Wide for women is just what I’ve been looking for. I love the Double H Bukaroos. I live in Texas where the girls can where their boots without having to have a reason. I currently work three jobs and I’m on my feet a lot. However, the vitalize cushion insole that helps alleviate sore feet, aching knees and a weary back in just what the doctor ordered.
The Double-H boots was described to me as an amazing fitted boot. From the picture of the women boots i love the design and stitching. Their made to be comfortable around the ranch and else where which is great for me. I think they’ll be just the right pair to use because most boots aren’t so comfortable. Plus they seem so durable from the looks of them which is a mega plus. They come in great colors which are great colors for me to match with anything I own. Plus there very stylish as well. I actually think I might have to get me a pair in many colors. They have great flexibility which is a must from where I live. Even the oil resistance is great as well because usually boots that I like don’t have that. I don’t really live on a ranch or farm but I go down to my grandmothers down further than my place and I help with all the horses and my shoes just aren’t cutting it. I had Ariats for the longest and their wearing out too fast. Double-H boots seem to me as if they’ll work just fine when I’m doing the duties for my horses. I think I actually found a great pair of boots to match me.<3

You know I have tried so many different types and styles and brands of boots. Its not even funny. I am very hard on my Double H. I used to go threw a pair of the other brands boots every 6 months. But the pair of Double H boots that I have now are over a year old and they are still holding up I am very impressed so far.

My favorite thing about the Double-H Boots are how comfortable they are right from the get go they don’t even feel like they need to be broke in! I also love how they are so cute and fashionable so they go with ANY outfit I have!!

Love my double h western work boots they are comfortable working on the ranch or being in the saddle. They are a good tough rugged boot that holds up and performs when you need it and love how you can spray some water on them to clean them up and go out on the town! I also like the different size heels you get on the boots… But all in all double h is a cowboys boot
I absolutely love the fact my Double H boots are available in comfortable wides and even better a D-style toe! Combine that comfort with the excellent craftsmanship, leather, and a sole that works awesome in North Dakota’s winters, and you can’t beat these boots.
